A roofing SEO company gets your business found when homeowners search Google for roof repair or a roofer near them. The Software Society does that work for roofers. We build the website and set up your Google Business Profile. We write a page for every service and town you cover, then track which searches turn into calls.
Book a callA homeowner with a leak looks in three places. First the map with three local roofers on it, then the results under it, and more and more often an AI answer at the top. A roofing SEO company works on all three, then measures the result in calls and booked inspections. Rankings are a clue. Signed jobs are the point.
The demand is there. In the US, "roofers near me" and "roofing company near me" are each searched about 165,000 times a month. "Roof repair" gets about 90,500 (Google search data via DataForSEO, October 2026). Those searches go to whoever Google trusts most in each town. SEO is the work of becoming that roofer.
Most agencies show you a dashboard. We would rather show you what happened for other businesses:
One more thing matters to a roofer: the person you talk to is the person doing the work. Jon, our founder, plans and runs every SEO account himself. Nothing gets handed off to a team you never meet.
Send us your site and the towns you cover. We rebuild your homepage free and show you where you rank on the map today.

We are building the search presence for a roofing and exteriors company in central Ohio right now. It started with a new website. Then came pages for roof repair, roof replacement, "roofer" and "roofing company" in each of the 17 towns it serves. Homeowners search each of those words differently, so each gets its own page. Every month we scan its Google Maps position on a grid across that area. The owner sees exactly where they show up and where they do not. That grid becomes the before and after.
On the website side, we rebuilt Chucktown Roofing's site in Charleston, South Carolina. It has a quote form up top and a projects gallery split into residential, storm and commercial work.
Here is how our roofing SEO company handles the work. It comes down to five jobs, done well and kept up every month.
Not every search is the same customer, so each kind gets its own page:
Then each service gets a page for each town you want work in. A good town page is not a copy with the city name swapped. It shows jobs from that town, local rules like permit needs, and the neighborhoods you work in. Google ignores copied pages, and so do homeowners.
The map results come from your Business Profile, so it gets as much care as the website. That means the right primary category (Roofing contractor), every service listed and your real service area. Hours should match your phones, and fresh job photos should go up every month. We also answer the common questions on the profile before customers ask them. A thin profile with stock photos tells Google you are not very active, even if your crews are booked solid.
Reviews are one of the strongest map signals. The roofers at the top usually have more of them, and newer ones. The trick is asking at the right moment: the day the job is done and the yard is clean. Send a link that opens straight to the review box. We set that request to go out after each job, and we reply to every review. Never buy reviews or offer a discount for them. Google removes them and can penalize the profile.
Google trusts a roofer that other local sites mention. Good sources include the shingle makers' contractor directories you qualify for, your suppliers and the chamber of commerce. Local sponsorships and community sites count too. Your name, address and phone number need to match everywhere they appear. One old address on a listing site can split your trust between two locations.
Storm searches arrive all at once, and pages take weeks to get indexed. So storm damage, hail damage and insurance claim pages need to be live before the season. Written the week after a hailstorm, they miss it. "Hail damage roof repair" draws about 1,600 searches in a normal month, and far more in a storm week.
We check your Google Maps position across your service area and walk you through it on a short call. Free, with no obligation.
Book a callA plan with our roofing SEO company covers the work that moves calls:
Every SEO plan starts with the website, because a slow or confusing site wastes every visit SEO earns. So the first step costs you nothing: we rebuild your homepage and show it to you before you pay for anything. You see the design, the quote form and how it reads on a phone. If you like it, we build the rest of the site and start the monthly work. If not, you have lost nothing.
We build and host sites on our own platform, so changes take minutes. You never wait on a web developer to update a page, add a town or swap in new job photos.
Expect early signs in the first 90 days and steady calls in 6 to 12 months. In the first 30 days we fix the website, the Business Profile and call tracking. By month three, new pages are indexed and map views start to climb. From there, results build on each other as pages earn trust. Any honest roofing SEO company will tell you speed depends on your market. It turns on how many roofers compete there, how old your site is and how many reviews you have. A roofer in a small town often moves faster than one in a large metro.
Jon runs every SEO account himself. Bring your questions, your towns and the jobs you want more of.
Book a callPlans are monthly and priced by how much ground you cover: how many towns, how many services and how many pages a month. We quote after looking at your market, because a roofer covering three towns needs far less than one covering 30.
Compare that with paying for each visit. On Google Ads, roofers pay an average of about $40 a click for "roof repair" and $31 for "roof replacement". Top-of-page bids reach $70 to $88 (Google Ads data via DataForSEO, October 2026). Ten clicks can cost $400 before anyone calls. SEO earns those visits without paying for each one, and the pages keep working after they are built. If one extra roof replacement a month comes from search, the plan pays for itself.
Google's own advice on hiring an SEO is worth reading before you sign with anyone. Its guide, Do you need an SEO?, says it plainly: "No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google." Ask every company you talk to:
Walk away from anyone who promises a number one spot or a set number of leads.
The same few problems show up on most roofing sites we look at:
Most roofers end up with a web designer, an SEO agency and a lead system that never talk. A call comes in and nobody knows if it came from Google, an ad or a yard sign. A roofing SEO company that also builds and hosts your site fixes that. We run the website, the SEO pages, the forms and the analytics on one platform. Every lead shows its source, and every page shows what it earned. When something works, we do more of it. When it does not, you hear it from us first.
Roofing is one of our main focuses, and the way we build pages fits it well: many services, many towns and a lot of storm-driven demand. We also work with other home service businesses such as tree service and exteriors companies.
Not always. If your site is fast, works on a phone and has a clear quote form, we build on it. Most roofing sites we see need work first. Either way, the homepage rebuild is free, so you can compare before you decide.
Nobody can promise it, and Google says so itself. What gets you there is a complete Business Profile, steady reviews, pages for each town and how close you are to the searcher. We track your position on a grid every month so you can watch it move.
Yes. AI answers lean on the same things Google does: clear pages that answer real questions, a strong Business Profile and good reviews. Our analytics show visits from AI tools as their own channel, so you can see when they start sending people.
Access to your website and Google Business Profile, a list of your services and towns, and photos from real jobs. After that, about 15 minutes a month to answer questions and tell us what kind of work you want more of.
Your homepage rebuilt, your map position checked and a clear plan for your market. Nothing to pay until you decide.
